Snow Day

We finally got enough snow to try out the sled Ken bought at a Rummage Sale last summer. It must have taken me 20 minutes just to get everyone bundled up!
A.'s very first snow angel. Pretty good, eh?
A. was happy with our "really big hill" in the backyard.
J. was less happy since he took a spill when his sled turned on the grass sticking out. From then on he had to ride with Mommy. I didn't mind - weee!

Our snowman. Took some time to gather up enough untrampled, grassy, muddy snow to make our little snow man. Acorn eyes, a carrot nose and sticks for mouth and arms. We built it on our deck so the boys could check on him through the window whenever they wanted. Little did I know it was a predestined magical spot where very little direct sunlight ever shown and a snowman can last for millenia unharmed.
