A & J racing cars down the pinewood derby-ish track; A. building "machines" with tons of "spinning gears" (both favorite topics of his); Ken showing A. how to work the train bridge.
J. still loves balls and wheels. He was having such fun exploring the different toys in the room, (noise makers, magnets, big fish tank, etc), but every few minutes he'd quickly dash back to the ball pit and crawl in.

Here is A. playing with BUGS...most of which were fake. He's holding a giant cockroach in the top pic. That's right Mom - a huge, crunchy COCKROACH. I think I definately prefer the bird-catching.
J. was so adorable playing drums in the big TP. Can you see how much he was getting into it? Apparently we need to get that boy a set of drums! Here is A & J riding the rocket ship we 'built' in the NASA room. And they say building rockets is complicated...
So after the Science Center we did a picnic in the park (where we ate PB&J and the mosquitoes ate US). I know - aren't we cute? That night we took the kids with us to dinner too since you can't very well hire a babysitter on family night, and while they drank strawberry smoothies I basked in the glory of coconut shrimp with my hubby of 8-yrs. So here's to us! Hip-Hip?

The science center looks like an awesome place! The boys look like they had a lot of fun - how nice that you got to have a family "date" on your anniversary! Sometimes that's nice, especially when your hubby is gone a lot. Happy anniversary, guys! :)
Congrats on 8 years! It is fun to have a family celebration, looks like a lot of fun!
