Eyewear

So Nonny (and PaPa) gave A. this cool 3D book that we must read each night before bedtime. He's really not all that interested in the story (we've begun making up our own), but he sure loves the pictures! He has to tell us all about his red-blue lenses each time and tuck them into the little envelope all by himself.

Last week I sent A. and J. off with Ken to Lowe's and he found a kids workshop set-up. They gave A. goggles, and apron then let him build this little "game" with a hammer and nails. It was a nice surprise - go Lowe's!

Add that to the training A. got when Ken installed our water osmosis system and we've got a little fix-it man on our hands! Actually, if you ask him he'll tell you he wants to be an astronaut. I finally convinced that rockets were flown by astronauts (he doesn't like planes - just rockets), but if you show him a picture he says they are robots, so he doesn't really get what an astronaut looks like. I've got to get a hold of a good kids book from NASA! Maybe you're inspired about the astronaut costume though Mom... by Halloween he may understand what it is.

Henry also loves rockets. I think he has about 5 little toy space shuttles. Here's our favorite rocket books. Space Shuttle and If you decide to go to the Moon. Space Shuttle teaches basic shuttle stuff and is our favorite book.
